This visually strong and sensual production tells German immigration stories in Central America and their colonial continuities on the basis of coffee and sugar, seemingly everyday food. Biographic material, historical sources, video fragments and live music form an impressive production, which touches the audience with its energy.

This play was awarded with the “Fritz-Wortelmann-Preis” in 2021.
